2023 Quanta Global Culture Ambassador

Program Results:
1. Antony from Germany showed German artifacts, including a brick from the Berlin Wall, during the morning glory hour at Taiping Elementary School in Taipei City. Antony shared German culture, including teaching German. He also prepared Kinder Chocolate, a favorite chocolate among German children, and surprised the students by revealing that the chocolate was produced in Germany!
 
2. Alan, Quanta Global Culture Ambassador from Poland, came to the Yongfu Elementary School in New Taipei City to introduce Poland's many natural resources, natural landscapes, and the various wild animals that live in the forests. At the same time, Alan experienced calligraphy activities, which gave him a deeper understanding of Taiwan's culture.
 
3. Tong'an Elementary School in Taoyuan City invited Olivia Michelle, Quanta Global Culture Ambassador from Germany, to incorporate the concepts of "plastic reduction" and "leftovers" into the gateway activity, and Olivia Michelle also shared with the Tong'an Elementary School students the SDGs practices she saw in Germany.
 
4. Valery, Quanta Global Culture Ambassador from Peru, came to Keelung City's Zhonghe Elementary School and participated in a paper-cutting game related to rain, cutting out various rain-related patterns, and introduced the children to an animal unique to Peru - the alpaca! The children were amazed to hear that their wool can be used to make clothes, they are an important source of food, and they can also be used as pets.
 
5. Yuna Murata, Quanta Global Culture Ambassador from Japan, came to Hsinyi Junior High School in Keelung City to participate in a learning activity using Keelung's ocean as the material for creation. Under the guidance of the artist, driftwood from the seashore was used to draw various patterns with needle and brush, and supplemented with dried flowers to create flower containers in the style of Keelung's ocean.

6 Karolina Baranska, a public and cultural diplomacy expert from the Polish office in Taipei, was invited to the symposium. Lori Hu, the Executive Director of QCEF, prepared a special souvenir, called "Eternal Light." This unquenchable light, driven by the principle of physical refraction, symbolizes the everlasting friendship between QCEF and Poland.
